1. Who can use the FSU Health and Wellness Center?

The center primarily caters to FSU students through its services yet it extends select offerings to faculty and staff and affiliates under payment terms.

2. Do I need an appointment?

Reach the Central Appointment Unit (CAU) using the phone number (850) 644-4567. After receiving your initial call to the Central Appointment Unit the staff will work to book your appointment for no longer than 48 hours. Check in at least 15 minutes early than your booked appointment slot. The clinic imposes no show charges for absent appointments while late patients have to reschedule their visits and pay both fees. Walk-In patients need to contact the Central Appointment Unit that operates from the first, fourth and fifth floors.

3. Do you have specialists on staff?

Our facility does not maintain specialists among its staff members yet we refer students to community specialists or emergency room services as needed. The practice refers students to specialists in the community or emergency facilities whenever necessary. We actively work to find specialists for student referrals who acknowledge their insurance coverage

4. What if a student has a medical emergency?

If incase a student has a serious medical emergency in such situations the parents/guardians will be notified.
